In January, Pechiney Soplaril Flexible Europe (PSFE), Rueil-Malmaison Cedex, France, purchased Montreuil-Bellay-based Avenir Print Service (APS), a company specializing in short runs of flexible sample packaging for beauty and cosmetic products. Pechiney also developed a range of barrier- and pressure-resistant films for the beauty industry, including samples, sachets, flowpacks and Doy-packs. More info: www.pechiney.com.
